Voice Study for Gene Positive, Nonsymptomatic - Participants Needed

Lea Kaploun, MS-CCC/SLP

I am a doctoral candidate in Speech Pathology at Teacher’s College, Columbia University (New York). I am currently studying genetic carriers of Huntington’s disease who are nonsymptomatic, trying to determine whether any voice characteristics tested are significantly different than for normal controls. Anyone who is interested in participating in this study can contact me at lea-r-p@excite.com. Testing consists of recording of the voice during production of several vowels, syllables, and sentences, and should take approximately 20-30 minutes. I will try to make the process of meeting for testing as simple as possible, and where possible, will try to come to the location most convenient for those interested.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Sincerely,
Lea Kaploun, MS-CCC/SLP
